WHAT YOU BRING

• Technical Warehouse and/or Logistics qualifications – highly regarded
• Extensive experience across Supply Base and Supply Chain operations, both at a local and regional/global level.
• Collaborates and integrates within CP and with business, enterprise first. Understands business and speaks business language. Has effective influencing skills and can flex his/her style to audience. Proven track record of commercial acumen and Contractor Management.
• Highly regarded safety leader who is committed to HSSE and ethical standards, consistently integrating external insights to drive outcome-focused initiatives and operational excellence.
• Extensive expertise in materials management and warehouse operations, with strong SAP RtP and Maximo WMS knowledge; skilled in training teams and managing lifting and hoisting risks safely.
• Strategic and adaptable leader with strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills; credible across all levels and focused on delivering enterprise value.
• Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration and project execution, with deep commercial acumen and expertise in Upstream Oil & Gas operations
• Continuous improvement champion, empowering teams through simplification, cost efficiency, and a culture of recognition and development.

Accountabilities:

• Deliver Goal Zero safety performance, ensure HSSE and operational process compliance by performing self-assurance on the Supply Base operations and contractor assurance process.
• Provide leadership and oversight to drive the overall performance for areas of responsibility and drive robust management of 3rd party supply base contractors.
• Drive a competitive and compliant supply base, delivering innovation, value, and adherence to laws, regulations, and group standards.
• Lead operational planning and budget management, including annual submissions, LE updates, and alignment with contract scope and pricing.
• Strengthen stakeholder collaboration through effective SLA development, reporting, and inventory accuracy via cycle counting.
• Build logistics and supply chain capability, mentoring teams and fostering a culture of trust, performance, and continuous improvement

This high-impact role leads Shell QGC’s Supply Base operations, serving as the critical interface with our Supply Base Operator, Qube Energy. You’ll drive frontline safety leadership, operational efficiency, and commercial innovation to support production and field operations. Success in this role hinges on strong stakeholder collaboration, process excellence, and a relentless focus on safety and value delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The role is based in Chinchilla with regular travel to sites across Queensland. The successful candidate will ensure that Supply Base support services are executed, driving Shell’s Goal Zero commitment, lean CI, business performance and support services across the Supply Base community. Delivery objectives will be met through close collaboration between internal stakeholder groups and external service providers, ensuring availability of materials, inventory and support services, with a first time right mandate.
