Join us.   Position Title: Supply Chain Administrator – Intern     Location: Irvine, CA   Work Arrangement: On-Site Required   Position Summary The Supply Chain Administrator – Intern supports the Supply Chain team by processing purchase requisitions, coordinating with Engineering and NPI program teams, and helping maintain smooth procurement workflows. This role provides exposure to engineering development cycles, NPI processes, supply chain operations, and procurement fundamentals.   The intern will work closely with Buyers, Purchasing Manager, Program Managers, and Engineers to ensure timely material requests, accurate documentation, and proper routing of requisitions through the procurement lifecycle.  This role is an excellent opportunity for students looking to build a career in Supply Chain, Engineering Operations, Procurement, or Business Operations. The Supply Chain Administrator – Intern will learn how engineering teams generate material needs, how NPI programs flow through development phases, and how procurement converts requirements into purchase orders.   The intern will: * Support requisition creation, routing, and documentation * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure complete and accurate request information * Learn how NPI development drives material demand * Gain hands on experience with ERP/MRP systems * Support real supply chain workflows in a fast-paced aerospace environment * No prior industry experience is required—just organization, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills. Required Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist with creating and submitting purchase requisitions for engineering and NPI teams. * Review requisitions for accuracy, required documentation, and compliance with internal processes. * Coordinate with Engineering to ensure BOM data, specifications, drawings, and SOW details are correctly attached. * Support Buyers and Purchasing Manager by routing requisitions and resolving missing information. * Maintain requisition logs, status trackers, and internal dashboards. * Assist with data entry, part setup, and material request validation in ERP/MRP systems. * Help organize engineering/NPI material prioritization meetings and follow-up actions. * Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding requisition status or required clarifications. * Support special projects related to NPI readiness, supply chain improvements, or procurement workflow optimization.        Required Skills/Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field. * Strong organization, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. * Comfortable working with engineers, technical teams, and cross functional stakeholders. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Strong communication and teamwork skills.       Preferred Skills/Qualifications: * Interest in supply chain, NPI, engineering operations, or procurement. * Experience with ERP/MRP systems (coursework or prior internships beneficial). * Basic understanding of BOMs, part numbers, or engineering documentation (a plus but not required). * Basic understanding of Engineering Drawing(s) or basic requirement(s) * Curiosity about aerospace, defense, or complex technical products.       Education:  * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.       Clearance Level Required: None   Travel Required: None   Working Conditions: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.   Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: * Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs. * Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
