SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring smooth flow of goods, and maintaining efficient inventory management. This position requires a strong background in demand planning, supplier quality management, and stock availability monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Demand Planning:
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for all product lines
  • Analyse historical sales data and market trends to predict future demand
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities into demand forecasts
  • Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on actual performance and changing market conditions
  • Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks related to demand fluctuations
  • Supplier Quality Management:
  • Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and audits
  • Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier quality metrics and improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with procurement team to ensure supplier contracts include appropriate quality clauses
  • Stock Availability Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses and distribution centers
  • Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system
  • Analyse stock turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete items
  • Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Develop strategies to minimise stockouts while avoiding excess inventory
  • Supply Chain Optimisation:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in the supply chain
  • Implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of supply chain processes and procedures
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain activities
  • Create and deliver presentations to management on supply chain initiatives and performance
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external supply chain inquiries
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and other key stakeholders
