Purpose: Responsible for monitoring the receipt, storage, research, disposition, inventories, and accountability of set equipment in the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Performs and validates research using automated property management software, the Logistics Modernization Program (LIS) works in conjunction with Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A), LOGSA/Logistics Information System (LIS) and other automated Web Log Tools.
- Perform stratifications and trend analysis, ensure data integrity, conduct location surveys, develop stock record accounts, reconcile due-ins between GCSS-A and LIS and appropriate item managers.
- Monitors GCSS-A and LIS to ensure systematic accountability of all APS 2 equipment to include equipment being shipped until received into final location or destination.
- Responsible for inventory control and management of government equipment at APS-2 Europe
- Operates and monitors the LIS ensuring the system information is reflected in the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).
- Conduct analysis and causative research on for any discrepancies found between LIS and GCSS-A to ensure data integrity is maintained.
- Coordinates with 405th BDE Accountability Officer to mitigate shortfalls in data or accountability of assets.
- Consolidate data and generate reports IAW Army Regulations and requirements.
- Provides training and mentoring of LIS/GCSS-A Analyst’s and monitoring daily operations to include equipment receipt, shipments, and adjustments.
- Performs and validates research using automated property management software, the LIS works in conjunction with Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A and other automated Web Log Tools.
- Monitors all receiving, shipping and equipment issue documentation and validate all data entry into LIS/GCSS-A.
- Provides timely, accurate, and relevant information to the operations leadership and the customer.
- Provides technical assistance and training to junior level analysts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.

Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- 3 years of related work experience. Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Considered an expert in the following Logistics Information Systems (LIS): Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A),
- Current certifications on GCSS-A.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
- Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Prior military supply or parts expediter experience is a plus.
