SUMMARY:

As a member of the Global Spares and Logistics Team, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for ensuring critical part deliveries arrive at ASM’s global customers on time. This role acts as the point of contact for expediting and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining effective communication to ensure timely delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an expeditor role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook and Excel (intermediate level).
  • Hands-on experience using SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of material control methods.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as ASM’s point of contact responsible for expediting and fulfilling customer orders on time.
  • Communicate with buyers and shipping companies to ensure timely global deliveries, reporting any pending delivery delays to management.
  • Prepare and submit daily warehouse receiving reports to stakeholders.
  • Develop positive relations with Customer Service Representatives and Key Customer Technical Service Managers for optimum expediting support.
  • Manage all standard expedites for the region.
  • Monitor shipments against schedules.
  • Troubleshoot delays and material shortages; transport parts from one location to another.
  • Check the status of in-process assemblies and purchase orders against scheduled commitments and investigate any deviations from schedule.
  • Communicate and expedite deliveries to reduce customer tool down events.
  • Serve as a backup to regional expeditors.
  • Provide customer after-hours support as needed.
