Description
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining inventory levels at various field locations, ensuring accurate stock levels, and optimizing the supply chain processes. Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels at multiple field locations, ensuring adequate stock to meet operational needs. Perform regular physical usage search and reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and recorded inventory. Develop and maintain inventory reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection and analysis. Assist with forecasting inventory needs based on project timelines, consumption rates, and seasonal demand fluctuations. Ensure inventory rotation to minimize write off especially for slow moving or short expiry items. Work closely with Sales Teams to ensure smooth, efficient processes for inventory handling and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory flow and reduce operational costs. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, field operations, or supply chain management. Previous experience in a field-based inventory management role or in the logistics/supply chain industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software (e.g., SAP, Excel). Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with field staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems in real-time. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
