ROLE OVERVIEW The Supply Chain Analyst supports transportation, warehousing, production, procurement, and inventory operations through practical, data-driven analysis. This role partners closely with the Supply Chain Manager and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, manage costs, and ensure continuity of supply in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating demand. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with operational data, ERP/WMS systems, and imperfect datasets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OPERATIONAL & FINANCIAL ANALYSIS * Analyze requirements and forecasts to support procurement and inventory strategies with meaningful financial and operational impact * Evaluate the financial implications of current and future operational methods, including cost, service, and inventory tradeoffs * Generate month-end reporting, including inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), supplier spend, and planning and forecast summaries REPORTING & DATA MANAGEMENT * Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring KPI and operational performance reports * Build and maintain Excel-based analytical tools and Power BI dashboards * Extract, validate, and reconcile data from IFS (ERP) and Invar (WMS) * Maintain clean, accurate, and well-structured datasets to support decision-making PROCUREMENT & SUPPLIER SUPPORT * Support purchasing prioritization and procurement analysis within established policies * Assist with supplier engagement, including quote analysis, contract term review, performance tracking, and issue escalation * Monitor supplier performance metrics and collaborate with the Quality team on corrective actions * Evaluate and adjust procurement and inventory plans in response to demand changes, supply constraints, and market conditions CROSS-FUNCTIONAL & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT * Collaborate with Warehouse, Shipping, Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Finance teams to align supply strategies and prevent disruptions such as line-down events or missed shipments * Partner with the Warehousing team to support inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist with physical inventory counts * Collaborate with Finance and suppliers to help resolve accounts payable discrepancies * Develop a strong understanding of product structures, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations and their interdependencies * Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to recommend process improvements and supply chain optimization initiatives * Perform additional analytical or supply chain-related duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred * 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or analytics * Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets * Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query; macros a plus) * Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and BI tools (Power BI preferred) * High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments * Exposure to procurement, inventory planning, or supplier performance analysis * Self-motivated, accountable, and focused on delivering accurate, high-quality work
