Description

At The Coca-Cola Company, we are a global business that operates on a local scale, in every community where we do business. As Supply Chain Analyst, you will have procurement and supplier relationship management responsibilities for minor suppliers as well as providing support to more senior members with their day-to-day procurement activities. This role is responsible for collecting, analysing, reporting, and managing data to provide key insights for the supply chain of ingredients, which includes annual negotiations. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding critical thinking skills who has proven experience in procurement and can manage complex internal and external relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience of procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, and/or data management experience.
  • Exceptional business communication skills, including negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing, listening, teamwork and building value-based relationships.
  • Experience in SAP considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts. Experience and knowledge of Power Bi an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., best practices, policies) for one or more supplier industries. Ability to provide guidance to suppliers for cost improvements and to incorporate new technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret contractual documentation. Knowledge of contract terms, applications and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements. Ability to explain requirements contained in agreements.
  • Knowledge of products, commodities or services (e.g., ingredients, packaging, logistics services, Coca-Cola products and services) and their related industries. Knowledge of all primary and supporting industries that impact the supply chain. Ability to research markets and synthesize findings for application in decision-making process and analytical work.
  • Making customers (external and internal) and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with the customer.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiations and supplier Management for your own ingredients
  • Creation and presentation of ingredient strategy for own ingredients
  • Collaborates with supply chain management in the production plants
  • Collaborates with Legal on Master Agreement creation
  • Investigates Materials At Risks and alerts relevant buyers and plant leadership as needed
  • Participates and occasionally leads packaging optimization or ingredient defect problem solving initiatives.
  • Attends supply risks, supplier changes or supply point changes with a status of critical and missing ingredients.
  • Collaborates with Buyers and planning team members in the execution of various cost savings initiatives.
  • Executes supplier relationship and internal meeting activities to improve service to our internal customers
  • Managing activities with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies (e.g. audits) and legal compliance (MSA Modification Letters, Price schedules, UISS letters, NDAs, Material Transfer, insurance certificates, etc.). As well as updating key performance metrics, tools, and data systems and updating pricing and supplier data in databases.
