We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse and Logistics Assistant to support our SA team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate flow of stock and materials and maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work across staging, build room preparation, project support and general business operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming stock and allocate to orders
  • Picking of stock for orders and delivery co-ordination
  • Organising the shipment of stock
  • Forward planning and management of stock movements and storage
  • Proactive monitoring of consumable stock levels
  • Operation of reach stacker
  • Participation in stock take counts
  • Processing of returned stock
  • Ad hoc Warehouse and logistics duties


As a Warehouse & Logistics Assistant working in our SA team, you will approach your work and your colleagues with a positive attitude and never hesitate to take the initiative to get the job done. You will bring to the role, and to the business, a hands-on approach and previous experience working in a warehouse environment, a systematic approach to your work, the ability to safely lift and move equipment in accordance with manual handling practices, great attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication. Strong PC skills are essential and experience with an ERP system will be advantageous.

We specialise in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management services, supporting businesses through efficient and customer-focused logistics operations.

Operating from our strategically located 12,500-square-metre warehouse facility in Jandakot, Western Australia, CAFFI Logistics manages large-scale storage and distribution operations supported by a fleet of more than 10 delivery vehicles. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to support the analysis, improvement, and optimisation of our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for reviewing operational processes, analysing performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with warehouse, logistics, inventory, and management teams to evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, and support business decision-making through accurate analysis and reporting. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for driving continuous improvement within supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the achievement of operational objectives by assisting in the development of effective picking strategies, workflows, and processes to improve customer satisfaction and maximise the use of warehouse resources.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within operations by reviewing current processes, workflows, and team performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing procedures, systems, and operational practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes. May manage route activity including invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing.
  • Provide recommendations to improve picking accuracy, productivity, workflow efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating work methods, procedures, and team responsibilities to support continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
  • Support the implementation of approved process improvements, operational changes, and updated warehouse procedures.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and training to picking team members to enhance skills, improve performance, and build team capability.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. Qualifications in this specialisation and relevant field will be an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations, including senior-level responsibilities (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, SAP, ICS Logistics, or similar inventory management software.
  • Leadership & Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
