Description Position Overview Under the direction of the Senior Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst performs a variety of supply chain management duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include analyzing the purchasing, forecasting, transportation, and inventory management functions throughout the supply chain. This role may require analyzing MRP requirements, negotiating with suppliers, placing POs, and creating materials and production BOMs (Bills of Materials) within the ERP system for components and/or finished products. This is a non-supervisory position. Responsibilities Inventory Management: • Optimize product and component inventory levels to coincide with demand and lead time changes • Work with the warehouse, logistics, refurb, and assembly departments on other projects related to inventory management • Communicate regularly with management and the sales team about inventory availability • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure the integrity of product attributes in master data • Create new product materials and production BOMs within SAP system • Set up new products; coordinate with product and sales team on phase-in/phase-out planning • Assist with finished goods and/or parts planning; evaluate slow-moving parts and scrap if necessary, work with the Quality department to evaluate parts needs based on monthly work plans and place appropriate orders, review usage trends, and adjust the re-order levels Purchasing: • Convert MRP requirements to regular purchase orders, ensuring products are produced on time and delivered to customers or the warehouse according to planned dates • Track shipped orders and report estimated arrival dates to internal customers as needed • Analyze and revise future shipment plans as needed: includes expediting, delaying, or cancelling orders Reporting: • Complete and maintain reports and metrics for analysis and distribution to staff and management • Responsible for updating existing reports and developing new ones • Responsible for tracking departmental performance metrics Other: • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings when required • Work closely with all internal and external suppliers and vendors • Maintain work area to 5S standards as posted in the work area • Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers • Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all duties and tasks • Work with the warehouse, logistics, refurb, and assembly departments on other projects related to inventory management • Other projects as assigned Requirements Education: • Bachelor’s Degree required (i.e., Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) • APICS CPIM Certification preferred • Lean 6 Sigma Experience preferred • Green Belt Certified preferred Experience: • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment required • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment preferred • History of proven Supply Chain experience and success with a preference for procurement • Aptitude for self-management, taking initiative, and problem-solving • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel and management • Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills required • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, create reports, and maintain metrics • History of creating and maintaining material master data, as well as creating production BOMs (Bills of Material) within an ERP system, is desired Other Requirements: • SAP, Access, ERP, statistical tools, data mining/reporting tools preferred • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookup, auto filers, etc.) Required • Well-versed with Microsoft Office Suite • Minimal domestic, local, and international travel may be required (customer visits, factory visits) • Valid driver’s license required Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package along with outstanding benefits and growth opportunities, including: • Health & Dental Insurance • Company-paid Life Insurance • 401(k) Plan with company contributions • Generous Paid Time Off • Exclusive Product Discounts • Wellness Programs and more EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability #ZR
