We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to manage and optimize consignment inventory processes for Intraocular Lens (IOL) products across US surgical centers and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will bring experience in medical device supply chains, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely replenishment, and full regulatory compliance.
IOL Consignment Inventory Management*
Oversee US consignment stock of IOLs at ophthalmic surgery centers and hospitals. Monitor inventory levels, product mix, and expiration dates to ensure product availability and compliance.
Consignment Scans & Inventory Optimization*
Ensure that Healthcare providers’ consignments are verified at least twice annually. Recommend adjustments to customer inventory levels to optimize their performance and IOL usage. Coordinate with field reps and ensure timely replenishment. Analyze & manage risk associated with slow moving and obsolete stock
Data Accuracy & ERP Maintenance*
Maintain and reconcile consignment inventory data in ERP and consignment management systems. Ensure synchronization with hospital inventory records and field rep inputs.
Compliance & Traceability*
Ensure traceability of consigned IOLs through lot and serial number tracking. Support audits, recalls, and FDA/UDI regulatory compliance.
Collaboration with Sales Teams*
Partner with sales reps, customer service, and healthcare providers to resolve inventory discrepancies, initiate transfers or returns, and monitor consignment setup for new accounts.
Process Improvement & Reporting*
Identify gaps in consignment processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Actively participate in Supply Chain continuous improvement activities. Generate reports and dashboards to monitor consignment performance. Serve an instrumental role in a variety of supply chain transformation projects providing support as systems & process SME. Ensure best practices are implemented
Return & Recall Management*
Manage the return of expired or unused IOLs and coordinate timely action in case of product recalls. Work closely with Finance team to process returns & write-off’s of consignment inventory
Cross-Functional Warehousing Support*
Provide analytical and hands-on support for warehousing functions, including pick, pack, ship activities and inventory checks based on evolving business priorities and operational needs.

Collaborate with Warehouse Operations to ensure accurate inventory control, assisting with investigations into stock discrepancies and maintain integrity of serialized and lot-controlled product data.

Versatile with and adept in learning new software applications and technologies, such as NetSuite ERP

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a medical device supply chain role, with a strong understanding of consignment inventory management.
  • Experience working with ophthalmic products, especially IOLs, preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Familiar with Power BI
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, UDI requirements, and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
