The Network provides a sophisticated service model across a diverse range of products. The customer base includes strategic, key and regional accounts. The role supports the supply chain team and the wider operations function with analysis, reporting, the design, development and implementation of the supply chain and operations solutions across the Network and the DC. The role requires significant business acumen, project management, data analysis and stakeholder management skills to be successful in providing an excellent customer service offering.

Responsibilities
  • Work with suppliers, investigate and resolve challenges and introduce improvements to the way supply chain teams replenish inventory, setting up EOQs, and implementing cost-effective methods of delivery in a demanding customer centric environment
  • Support the initiatives around the reduction of the company’s non and slow moving stocks
  • Regularly validate lead times for all suppliers as necessary
  • Support supply chain teams with their objective to deliver constantly high availability of products, as per the agreed service levels
  • Support to deliver key supply chain processes, projects and change activities
  • Constantly seek to automate work intensive, time pressured activities by e.g. delivering actionable insights utilising a vast array of systems the company operates on and/or acting upon the feedback from internal stakeholders
  • Analysis of reporting, pattern discovery, followed by an action plan to deliver optimal supply chain set up
  • Preparation of a variety of supply chain reports for senior stakeholders
  • Respond to the Network with any supply chain queries, whether system or process related, making necessary amendments where relevant
