SAIC is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support defining plans, processes, methods, and tools that ensure supply chain management and chain of custody for the life of all Government assets and help protect from the inadvertent purchase of counterfeit or illegally modified products control. The successful candidate ensures the execution and continuous improvement of supply and logistic processes. This position will be in either Bethesda, MD to McLean, VA.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

  • Familiarity with warehousing and inventory management principles
  • Familiarity with basic financial accounting for cost estimates and tracking
  • Understanding of fundamental of supply chains and supply chain management
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with the required poly.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors

Responsibilities
  • Support all activities associated with researching and recommending cost effective purchase arrangements approved by the Government
  • Support the purchase process and participate in activities coordinating the delivery of purchases
  • Participate in the management, tracking, and auditing of hardware recapitalization, maintenance agreements, and software licensing.
  • Support the efficient flow of assets and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in the process to review purchase requisitions for clarity, compliance, detail, completeness, and obtain additional information considered necessary
  • Support Government purchases and ensure processes are followed to include corporate requirements needed to meet supply/procurement requirements
  • Actively participate in the procurement process from order placement through receipt of products and subsequent payment of invoices
  • Actively participate in the management of supplier performance through consistent communication to ensure proper adherence to purchase order terms and conditions
  • Actively participate in the invoice approval process to ensure that supplier invoices are in accordance with purchase order terms and conditions, and support resolving issues as necessary
