The Role

As Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations while leading and developing a team to achieve high service standards.


Your focus will be on:

  • Coordinating day-to-day logistics and operational activities
  • Ensuring service levels and delivery performance are consistently achieved

Key responsibilities


  • Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including task allocation, performance monitoring and team development
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch of products
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies across all warehouse activities
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain product integrity
  • Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and accessibility

Onelink is seeking suitably experienced and motivated team members for the position of Warehouse Supervisor (one for AM & one for PM shifts respectively).

 

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly and despatch of orders to all customers within the time frame allocated. The accurate and efficient receiving, put-away and replenishment of stock is vital to the assembly operation, and the Warehouse Supervisor must ensure that they are completed efficiently and on-time.

 

The Warehouse Supervisor will provide a point of contact for both internal and external customers for business systems and related problems or requests and to always look for ways to improve the business. They must also provide coverage for other supervisors when required. The Warehouse Supervisor must be able to drive and lead a multi-cultural workforce with the ability to influence their behaviours in developing and maintaining a lean culture.

  • Service: Ensure customer orders are assembled on time with high level accuracy. Ensure Orion Systems, PC systems and technology used within the business are always operating at peak performance and all end users are adequately supported.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining demand forecasts using sales history, seasonality, customer activity, promotions and business inputs
  • Monitoring forecast accuracy, bias, demand volatility and changing customer order patterns
  • Supporting Bunnings and other major customer replenishment, stock availability, promotions, range changes and product transitions
  • Identifying potential stockouts, overstocks, supply delays, service risks and unusual demand before they become problems
  • Maintaining inventory planning parameters including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, MOQ, pack sizes and replenishment settings
  • Using NetSuite reports, saved searches, dashboards and inventory data to investigate issues and drive action
  • Monitoring slow-moving, excess, obsolete and at-risk inventory
  • Supporting purchasing and inbound supply planning across local and offshore suppliers
  • Reviewing DIFOT / OTIF, customer fill rate, backorders and stock availability
  • Preparing clear reports, analysis and recommendations for management and operational teams

About you

  • 3+ years' relevant experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment, procurement planning or a closely related analytical role
  • Strong Excel capability including pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing, modelling and scenario analysis
  • Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems involving inventory, purchasing, replenishment or demand planning
  • The ability to interpret large volumes of information and identify what actually matters
  • Practical experience using contemporary AI tools for analysis, research, data interrogation, productivity or reporting
  • A willingness to experiment with new analytical tools while maintaining appropriate checks and controls
  • Understanding of inventory concepts such as safety stock, reorder points, lead times, MOQ, pack sizes and stock classifications
  • Experience analysing sales history, forecast accuracy, stock availability, backorders or customer service performance
  • The ability to communicate findings clearly and recommend practical action
