Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Verizon team. This is a pivotal role in the success of the Planning team. Your responsibilities will include supporting activities for supply planning, Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) processes, managing purchase orders, vendor collaboration, and cross-functional team coordination. The ability to interpret data, leverage analytics to make decisions, and drive change will be essential to your success in this role.

  • Managing daily supply planning, purchasing, and inventory optimisation needs for a vast assortment of Verizon products and services.
  • Ensuring consistent and adequate supply to maintain established service level targets for the entire product portfolio while maximising working capital.
  • Supporting consensus supply and demand forecasting cycle to ensure market demand and supply are balanced, as well as generating key reports and metrics
  • Collaborating in cross-functional project teams to meet deliverables and drive strategic objectives
  • Manage suppliers through Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) processes.
  • Performing detailed analysis of data from various sources to make informed decisions.
  • Driving continuous improvement in day-to-day operations and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
  • Utilizing the IBP planning system to generate weekly buy plans and maintain SKU setup information and system settings in master data.
  • Supporting ERP and Integrated business planning (IBP) activities, including but not limited to report generation, remote receiving, inbound supply and open PO management, planning support for Regional Distribution Center (RDC) programs, and utilizing key ERP and IBP planning modules
  • Performing weekly inventory valuation and projection using system tools and templates.
