JOB SUMMARY The Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager is responsible for an uninterrupted supply of materials and services, implementing strategies to offset inflation, warehouse receipt and fulfillment. This should be accomplished through demand analysis, strategic negotiations, and market/industry analysis. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Own and Execute strategic sourcing plans to uninterrupted supply of materials and services to support production and customer demand, meeting company goals and KPI’s for order fulfillment. Implement and manage supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness Analyze sales and usage trends to determine inventory requirements and prevent stockouts or excess inventory, meeting our company KPI’s Manage and track all purchasing activity from requisition through delivery, ensuring on-time and in-full receipt. Identify, escalate, and report supply chain disruptions, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Address/Report any interruptions to supply chain Plan, execute, and reconcile bi-annual physical inventories; implement and enforce an ABC cycle counting program Ensure accuracy and integrity of Bills of Materials and production data Maintain accurate and current item master data within the ERP system Maintain Offsite Inventory data and processes Enforce and follow all purchasing policies, procedures, and internal controls Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS BA or BS in Supply Chain management or equivalent experience Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations-driven environments Demonstrated success delivering measurable operational and financial results PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Results-oriented with a clear sense of ownership and urgency Ability to prioritize, execute, and deliver in a deadline-driven environment Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Physical Demands This position requires constant sitting, fine and gross manipulation, and keyboarding. It also requires occasional standing and alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday. This position occasionally experiences stair climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and reaching overhead. Environmental Demands This position requires working in a climate-controlled office environment for the majority of the workday with the exception of occasional noise and working outdoors.
