We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Supply Chain Assistant to join our team in Houston! In this role, you will support the daily operations of Aventus North America by researching goods, resolve warehouse discrepancies, enter and process data and keep the SAP database current.

• Enter data into SAP database
• Research goods to find alternative vendors for reducing lead times or lowering costs.
• Follow up on order confirmations, incomplete and inaccurate vendor shipments and file and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Check order confirmations and data lists for accuracy and compare with information in SAP database
• Manage open orders and adjust orders if required (technical specifications, delays, item number or pricing)
• Travel to remote warehouse to check on inventory as needed
• Scan documents and attach files to the appropriate transactions in SAP database
• Continuously enter new information into database to keep system current
• General supportive administrative duties as needed
