Description Bay Converting Inc. in Green Bay is actively looking for a Supply Chain Assistant. The right candidate will be responsible for administrative duties that will support the Supply Chain Analyst I, Supply Chain Manager, and Production Floor Managers. This will include data entry, production analysis, inventory and purchase order requests. A background or interest in the field, strong math skills, and knowledge of Excel are preferred. Any schooling in this field is a plus! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Update daily reports to support the scheduling process · Communicate production data to Supply Chain Analyst I and Supply Chain Manager · Maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries · Ordering and tracking purchase orders with vendors on raw materials as needed · Print out production work orders and pallet tags for production lines · Cycle counting raw material items after production job completion · Other supply chain tasks as assigned Requirements Education and Experience: · High school education - required · Post high school education – desired · Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment - desired Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook · Data entry & analysis · Detail-oriented · Ability to multi-task · Organizational skills · Problem-solving skills · Conflict resolution skills · Work under pressure Benefits: At The Bay Family of Companies, we believe in taking care of our employees.
