Description

There are more standard Supply Chain job opportunities, and then there is a role like this, where every piece of work that this person or other colleagues perform, in whatever job they do, contributes, ultimately, to making someone’s quality of life and mobility better. That is a product of genuine team effort.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a developmental role - ideally we would like to recruit someone we can develop at least one if not two steps above this starting point in a relatively short time.
Who are we? A British manufacturer with over 40 years of experience supplying the NHS, the medical trade and individuals. We are fully committed to our users and those who care for them to create market leading innovative inclusive solutions. With our state of the art manufacturing facility based in Sittingbourne, we specialise in producing a wide range of premium quality mobility equipment and crafting unique customisations to satisfy the needs of any disability.

The role:

  • Processing Sales and Works Orders in preparation for picking, which will involve reviewing those orders and assemblies to establish what is required, whilst analysing our customer requirements.
  • Pick items for orders using the Bill of Material (BOM) to pick component parts for order, and ensuring the correct items are collected and the paperwork checked off.
  • Packing and despatch of items, and also produce delivery notes for fast-track items and using third party online systems to arrange for collection and delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate storage of stock and stock levels, actively reviewing those stock levels when picking items.

What are we looking for in you? Principally:

  • Any existing Supply Chain or similar Administration or Order Picking/Despatching experience would be a definite plus, but we will provide training providing you have the right attitude and aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork, and the ability to liaise well with colleagues in different departments and at different levels.

This is an immediate start for the right person, so if we sound like the sort of team you’d like to be part of, then we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that this is a 37 hour working week. Our standard facility hours are 8am - 4pm Mon-Thurs and then we finish at 3.30pm on Fridays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,800.00-£24,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

  • Please confirm you have read the Ad contents and are happy with the salary range, work content, our location as being commutable for you, and that you have full Permanent Right To Work in the UK without the need for future sponsorship or a Visa? (Applications not answering this question will sadly be declined without consideration.)

Experience:

  • Supply Chain or Admin or Oder Picking: 1 year (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
