Description
As a Supply Chain Business Manager, you will help drive delivery and supplier operational excellence within a global supply chain. This role is within the Supply Chain Operations team which is instrumental in helping Supply Chain navigate through record ramps and other operational complexities thrown our way. In this position, you will help manage global suppliers and have responsibility for multiple suppliers within the RF Technology Commodity Team. Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Defines metrics and monitor supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement. Regularly evaluate quality and performance benchmarks, and the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection. Continuously working on process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies Established goals with supplier to ensure material delivery meet forecasted demand. In this role as Supplier Business Manager, you will work with cross-functional commodity teams that focuses on supply challenges, and to ensure internal/external customer needs are satisfied. Candidate will partner with Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality Engineers to get task accomplished. Drive the improvement of the suppliers' manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and on-time-delivery. Management key performance metrics - supplier OTD, consignment, lead-time reduction, inventory as E&O mitigation. BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering 8 years' experience in a similar role managing global suppliers and various commodities. Having Semiconductor Equipment Industry Experience is preferred. Experience in NPI, project transition and sourcing localization will be an added advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skill. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with scalable and repeatable results. Knowledge, experience and practical use of Microsoft Excel, SAP or other ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills - Macros, Pivot Tables, Data Lookup/Indexing, Dashboards. Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% (including domestic and international), mostly domestic travel for internal meetings.
