We are seeking a Supply Chain Buyer to join our team at South Bow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the intake of purchase requisitions, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to support our operations. A key aspect of the position will involve leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to enhance efficiency and drive process improvements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•   Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•   Minimum 3 years of experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, preferably in oil and gas.
•   Proven expertise in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, including Purchasing, Inventory, and Vendor Management.
•   Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
•   Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•   Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
•   Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry regulations, and supply chain management principles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•   Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
•   Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
•   Skilled at creating reports in Power BI, including data wrangling and transformations.
•   Ability to automate through the use of Power Automate and Power Apps.
•   Experience using SAP procurement modules.
This position requires candidates to:
•   Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training up to 10% of time.
•   Successfully complete pre-employment Bankruptcy, Credit, Civil and Criminal background checks.

Responsibilities:

•   Transform purchase requisitions into purchase orders for materials and services.
•   Collaborate with the supply chain contracts team to negotiate favorable contract terms and pricing.
•   Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
•   Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and operations teams, to understand their requirements and source the appropriate materials and services.
•   Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, such as Purchasing, Inventory, and Vendor Management, to manage the end-to-end procurement process.
•   Utilize data analytics and reporting in Dynamics 365 to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize inventory levels, and enhance procurement strategies.
•   Develop and implement process improvements to streamline procurement workflows and increase efficiency.
•   Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to inform purchasing decisions.
•   Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to all procurement activities.
•   Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement policies and procedures.
•   Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on the use of Dynamics 365 for procurement-related tasks.
•   Perform other duties as assigned.
