Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Category Planner has responsibility for optimising the balance of inventory across the supply chain network. The categories to be covered include Food, Beverage and Hotel items. The objective is to support the CUK fleet with their inventory requirements, optimising service whilst driving cost down. This role works in close collaboration with a range of stakeholders involved in the process such as Procurement & Supply Chain, Suppliers, Brand and Product teams, Guest experience and Fleet Inventory teams.

This pivotal role will involve:

  • Reporting on the results and generating/analysing KPIs to assess trends and follow up improvement activity through the S&OP forum.
  • Working closely with the Supply Chain, Procurement & Ship based Inventory teams to develop the Demand and Inventory processes together.
  • Responsible for owning the operational relationship with the suppliers. Working in close collaboration with buyers and suppliers to identify opportunities for joint value creation.
  • Act as the focal point for day-to day-queries from the fleet FB&H teams across all Supply Chain areas.
  • Own OTIF (On Time In Full) KPI reporting, holding reviews with relevant suppliers and agreeing/monitoring the improvement plans.
  • Ensure stock availability for the fleet working with suppliers/3PL, PO Helpdesk, etc Pushing Orders as necessary to support supply requirements.

This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
