Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Clerk to support aspects of the Operations Control Team for our defense contract program in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing supply chain activities to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and resources to support our program. This role requires a strong collaborator to work with internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred experience in supply chain within the defense industry, with a strong understanding of defense procurement processes and regulations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong team work, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems, demand planning, and inventory management
  • Understanding of defense industry export controls, including ITAR and EAR regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance metrics

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as planning, purchasing, engineering, and maintenance teams, to coordinate the delivery of materials and resources according to program schedules and support the program’s objectives and requirements
  • Ensure accurate care, tracking, and updates for all customers’ stock items
  • Communicate to purchasing team shelf-life expiration of chemicals, min-max requirements of parts, and notify and track the calibration and inspection of tools
  • Coordinate the receiving and delivery of all parts and tools within the hangar with the purchasing team and customer
  • Manage the receiving process, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and other defense industry export controls
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure strong communication within the internal departments with key stakeholders
