Description
upport the commercial sourcing, purchasing and worldwide logistics & distribution of raw commodities (e.g. agricultural, food, or commodity oils) from international suppliers.
Plan, schedule, and oversee export and import shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport providers. Ensuring cargo is booked, loaded, and shipped according to customer and business requirements across a variety of different INCOTerms.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, cost fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
Assist with supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management to ensure reliability and quality.
Work closely with logistics, finance, and quality teams to coordinate import, export and shipping schedules, shipping documentation, and customs compliance.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier data within our ERP systems.
Monitor commodity prices, exchange rates, and global market developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Support senior buyers in developing and implementing procurement strategies for assigned commodity categories.
Ensure compliance with all ethical sourcing, sustainability, and corporate responsibility standards.
