JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and information from suppliers to customers. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain management principles, and proficiency in various ERP systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain coordination or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS; experience with MRP is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to manage inventory levels and track orders.
  • Implement demand planning strategies to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Collaborate with production planning teams to align supply with manufacturing schedules.
  • Analyze data related to material requirements planning (MRP) to optimize inventory levels.
  • Work closely with purchasing teams to negotiate supplier contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Monitor logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement within the supply chain.
