Description We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within the supply chain field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, cross-functional teamwork, and helping materials move efficiently through an operation. About the Role The Supply Chain Coordinator supports purchasing, inventory, receiving, and material flow activities for our manufacturing operation. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are ordered, tracked, and received in alignment with production requirements. You will work closely with buyers, warehouse staff, suppliers, accounting, and operations teams to maintain efficient material flow and accurate documentation. What You’ll Do Purchasing & Supplier Coordination Assist buyers with daily follow-up on past-due purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Create and process purchase orders according to established SOPs. Support Special Product Requests (SPRs) including supplier quoting and order placement. Process and track Kanban replenishment orders to maintain inventory levels. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery timelines, and resolve routine issues. Coordinate simple supplier quality issues and facilitate information flow between internal teams. Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy to support informed decision-making. Invoice & Material Issue Resolution Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies related to POs, freight, or pricing. Document and support the Material Issue Resolution (MIR) process for material discrepancies. Maintain accurate, organized records related to orders, supplier communication, and issue resolution. Inventory Support Champion inventory accuracy including cycle counts, adjustments, and follow-up investigations. Participate in month-end inventory close (data entry, reconciliation, reporting). Assist in year-end physical inventory activities and documentation. Investigate inventory variances and collaborate with teams on root-cause solutions. Receiving & Material Flow Support Assist with ordering and receiving processes to ensure materials are properly documented and stocked. Support warehouse and production teams in ensuring material availability and minimizing shortages. Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing, receiving, and material flow processes. Requirements What You Bring Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with internal teams and suppliers. Customer service-oriented mindset with a solutions-focused approach. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Resourceful problem-solver with a willingness to learn. Comfortable following established processes while identifying improvement opportunities. High school diploma or equivalent required. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with regular time spent on the production floor and warehouse. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed. Standing/walking required at times, especially during physical inventory.
