Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring product quality.
  • Product Sourcing: Collaborate with stock managers to identify and source the right products to meet customer demand.
  • Logistics Strategy: Develop and implement logistical strategies to achieve target delivery times and costs.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee product storage and handling, optimising inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Supply Chain Visibility: Track goods from origin to delivery using software, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyse data to forecast demand, manage inventory, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Cost Management: Control supply chain costs while maintaining product quality and service levels.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that could disrupt the supply chain.
  • Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices and meet environmental targets within the supply chain.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to optimise supply chain processes and introduce innovations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
