Main tasks

• Operational responsibility for managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Supporting the Director of Supply Chain Management in the implementation of strategic initiatives and global projects
• Analysis and improvement of material and information flows between suppliers, production sites and customers
• Risk management in the supply chain (e.g., bottlenecks, geopolitical risks, transport problems)
• Creation / monitoring of forecasts and capacity planning in coordination with production and sales
• Monitoring of KPIs (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory Turnover) and derivation of measures for performance improvement.
• Project work in the areas of digitalization, process optimization and risk management
• Interface management with purchasing, production, sales and external partners
• Preparation of decision-making documents for the Director of Supply Chain Management

Requirements

• Completed studies in economics or engineering (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics)
• Several years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management / Logistics
• Ideally, experience in a consulting environment (e.g., management consulting) with a focus on supply chain, process optimization, or transformation.
• Sound knowledge of operational SCM processes as well as strategic topics
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and modern planning tools
• Analytical skills, structured work methods, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor in an international environment
• Fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel
