An Inventory & Supplier Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are accurate, stock is available when needed, and suppliers deliver goods on time and according to agreed terms.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels.

Process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.

Track incoming deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate inventory and supplier records.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory differences.

Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams.

Evaluate supplier performance (quality, cost, and delivery).

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms (depending on experience).

Prepare inventory and purchasing reports for management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Required Skills:

Inventory management and stock control.

Supplier and vendor relationship management.

Knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Proactively manage forecasting, demand planning and purchase orders to support target back-order rates.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inventory is managed cost effectively to meet internal and external customer delivery and quality requirements.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Inventory Analysis & Optimisation: Facilitate end-to-end inventory management, including analysing inventory performance, participating in stocktakes, investigating solutions, and providing inventory optimisation reports.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Order hardware, consumables, spare parts and software from local and overseas suppliers, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and product availability to meet business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the development and evolution of company functions, projects and programs.


ABOUT YOU

  • A keen interest in Supply Chain and Procurement with an eagerness to learn
  • Experience using Business Central (BC) is preferred
  • Finance and administration experience beneficial
  • Demonstrated a high standard of attention to detail
  • Data driven
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics 365
