ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Inventory management/warehousing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in a manufacturing environment
  • Confident in dealing with 3rd party suppliers
  • Supplier relationships & purchase order processing
  • Reporting experience i.e. Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced using Sage200
  • Global warehousing stocking experience
  • Excel intermediate skills e.g. vlookup

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will be managing the global inventory levels for a set of spare parts. This role is office based in Basingstoke and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring >99% spare parts availability for breakdown

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Regular review of parts identified as needing to be stocked as spares
  • Regular review and optimisation of stock levels for each part based on historical usage and forecast
  • Maintaining stock levels in each warehouse
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound spare parts/returns shipments
  • Maintaining and publishing KPI’s ( supported by the team)
  • Highlighting and escalating where stock levels are low or there is a stock out.
  • Management of purchase orders as required to support the purchasing team
  • Running reports in ERP system (Sage), to maintain stock levels in global warehouses
  • Analysing reports and use data to support on time delivery data to customers
