About the Wellness Pet Company

The Wellness Pet Company is on a mission to help the next generation of pet parents fulfill a shared life of wellbeing with their pets through a foundation of proven nutrition. We are committed to crafting high-quality pet food, dental chews, treats, and topper recipes that are made with the perfect balance of high-quality natural ingredients paired with the latest scientific research and technologies.

What You’ll Accomplish

As our Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be a core part of the ANZ Operations function, taking ownership of the demand execution side of our supply chain. You will work closely with our Supply Chain Planner, the senior member of the team on the ground, and report into ANZ leadership.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role in a lean, fast-moving team. You will own the operational tasks that keep our customers serviced and our supply chain running, from processing customer orders to coordinating inbound freight, managing inventory execution, and supporting our co-packer operations. If you take pride in execution, want real accountability from day one, and are serious about building a career in supply chain, this is the role for you.

Customer Order Management, your primary accountability:

  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and on time across all ANZ retail, eCommerce, and wholesale accounts.
  • Manage delivery bookings, minimum shelf life requirements, and DIFOT compliance.
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve supply and delivery issues, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate claims investigation, returns processing, and reverse logistics.

Inbound Logistics Coordination:

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, wharf cartage teams, and customs brokers to support smooth container inbounds.
  • Track inbound shipments and manage ETA updates across the inbound schedule.
  • Coordinate container delivery and receiving at our 3PL, including pre-advice creation and inbounding in our ERP system.
  • Maintain the inbound schedule tracker and keep internal stakeholders updated on any delays or discrepancies.

Warehouse & Inventory Execution:

  • Support inventory control activities including stock reconciliations, FIFO compliance, and ad hoc stock adjustments.
  • Manage CHEP pallet administration.
  • Assist with inventory reporting and maintenance of key data tables used for operational decision-making.

Co-packer Coordination:

  • Coordinate finished goods transport from our Australian co-packer to our 3PL.
  • Support production scheduling logistics and manage delivery documentation.

Operational Support:

  • Contribute to the preparation of regular operational reports including the inbound schedule and inventory health tracker.
  • Participate in S&OP-related calls and supply chain improvement projects as the function evolves.
  • Support the Supply Chain Planner with planning inputs and data maintenance as needed.

  • Always starts with the customer.
  • Is dedicated to doing it right the first time.
