Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking to hire for a Summer 2024 Supply Chain Data Analytics / Science Co-Op. This role sits remote OR hybrid in our Atlanta, GA or Bolingbrook, IL with a preference for candidates pursuing their master’s in supply chain or computer & data science.
Our logistics company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled supply chain or computer science and/or data analytics candidate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a student pursuing their master’s degree or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of logistics and data analysis. Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $30.00-35.00. Based on qualifications, and education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing a Master’s Degree in computer science or data science, or a related field
Strong programming skills in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work extremely hard and go above and beyond in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Willingness to learn
Ability to follow company policies and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed
Basic understanding of cloud, networks, relational & NO-SQL database systems, data formats
Linux command line experience (bash, csh, zsh, etc.) and ssh
Basic experience with code management tools like GitHub
Basic understanding of open-source projects/libraries/tools
Must be at least 18 years of age
This is a paid internship with flexible scheduling available to accommodate class schedules and other needs, and the duration is through the fall semester with possible extension. The ideal candidate will have the chance to significantly impact the development of our cutting-edge technology and gain valuable experience in the tech industry.

Develop a repeatable process to ingest Sales forecast and transform / generate what if analysis on impact to shipments and Supply Chain Cost
Perform data analysis to identify areas for optimization and drive continuous improvement
Identify and assess various modeling techniques and determine the approach based on the problem
Participate in the design, development and implementation of dashboard visualizations for logistics management
Backend work involved several data transformation using Azure Data Factory from various data source into Azure SQL for Power BI. Data sources includes Postgre SQL, Microsoft SQL Server (on premises), SAP (On premise), Microsoft Excel, XML, JSON and flat files … ensure that the technology meets the needs of the logistics industry
Assist in creating technical documentation, architecture/design diagrams, helping the team communicate needs and requirements
