SUPPLY CHAIN DATA SCIENTIST - FORECASTING & INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION (M/F/D)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience applying machine learning or large language models in business or supply chain contexts
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio)
  • Experience with ERP and replenishment systems (SAP, RELEX)
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Terraform)
  • Knowledge of omni-channel retail or e-commerce environments

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Analyze large-scale supply chain data (SAP, RELEX, sales) to detect trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
  • Build decision-support tools and dashboards for replenishment, planning, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Category Management, and other stakeholders to embed predictive models into supply chain processes
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, stock availability, and system usage
  • Lead research initiatives on new forecasting techniques, optimization models, and technologies
  • Support automation of manual processes, including user training and change management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices
