We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to join Vaisala’s headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. In this role, you will be part of our Operations unit, where we create value for our customers through a high-mix, low-volume supply chain network and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

The Operations organization includes four manufacturing sites in Vantaa, Boulder, Saclay, and Shanghai, with a total of 600 employees covering key functions such as Factories, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Production Technology, and Quality & Operational Excellence.
In this role, you will report to Executive Vice President of Operations Vesa Pylvänäinen, and be an integral member of the Operations Leadership Team, collaborating closely with teams across Vaisala both in Finland and internationally.
Supply Chain Director will lead and develop a diverse team of experts, including:
You will have global responsibility for supply chain management processes, tools, and best practices across all Vaisala manufacturing locations, with operational focus on intralogistics at our Vantaa factory. Key mid-term priorities include the adoption and continued development of SAP S/4 Hana (go-live January 2024), supply chain segmentation, and building supply chain management competences. A critical project for 2025 will be the successful ramp-up of a new logistics center in Vantaa.
