Supply Chain Engineer | Nox Metals | Detroit, MI Nox Metals is a technology company rebuilding how metal gets processed and delivered to American factories. We supply aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software to do what legacy service centers do with headcount and manual processes. We need a Supply Chain Engineer to own the material pipeline from mill to customer. You will: Source and manage relationships with aluminum suppliers. Build and maintain inventory models across alloys and product forms. Ensure DFARS, AMS, and ASTM compliance on all material certs. Negotiate pricing, manage POs, track mill schedules. Use AI tools and software to move faster than anyone in this industry. You should be: Proficient with spreadsheets, AI tools, and modern software. Strong at building and maintaining supplier relationships. Capable of juggling multiple priorities without dropping anything. A hard worker who does not need to be managed. Analytical and detail oriented. Comfortable in a fast environment where you wear many hats. Experience in metals or aerospace supply chain is a plus but not required. What matters more is how you work. This role is in-person in Detroit.
Responsibilities
