Description
About BlueHeart Energy BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry. With our so called 'Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions. About the Role As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between our engineering team and suppliers for critical components of Blue Heart Heat Engine. These parts are central to our thermoacoustic system and require precision manufacturing, robust qualification, and industrialization readiness. You will own supplier development activities from early engagement through qualification and ramp-up, ensuring manufacturability, cost competitiveness, and quality compliance. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-growing startup environment. What You’ll Do Develop and qualify suppliers for the critical components of the thermoacoustic heat engine. Assess manufacturing processes and provide useful feedback to design engineers. Lead industrialization readiness and make control plans Manage tooling and CapEx for critical components, including RFQs, supplier selection, and acceptance. Reach cost targets and lead supplier negotiations for the relevant components. Conduct supplier audits for process capability, quality systems, and compliance together with the quality lead. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless transition from prototype to series production. Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and scalability. What We’re Looking For 3-6 years of experience in supplier development, industrialization, or manufacturing engineering. Basic knowledge about brazing, welding, leak testing, coil winding, and precision machining. Experience with NPI readiness and qualification processes. Hands-on approach to supplier audits and process validation. Startup mentality: ownership, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving. Bonus: Experience in clean tech, HVAC, or high-tech manufacturing. What We Offer Salary €4.5000 – €5.500 per month Opportunity to acquire ESOP, directly linked to company value creation and your performance 25 vacation days Hybrid work arrangement supporting autonomy and work–life balance Tailored learning and development opportunities to support your continued growth Access to OpenUp, because we prioritize mental well-being Participation in our pension scheme with employer contribution Commuting allowance, in line with our travel policy A strategic role in a purpose-driven scale-up, contributing to a greener world and shaping the future of sustainable thermal technology.
