Description

Our client is seeking an experienced supply-chain professional with planning/purchasing experience, to manage the efficiency and compliance for sales and imports.
You’ll have advanced Excel skills as well as a background in supply chain management.

You will be able to:

  • Demonstrate solid previous experience in a supply chain role
  • Have advanced Excel skills - this is essential
  • Build relationships with existing and new customers and suppliers, as well as with the internal team;
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organisation and time management skills;
  • Demonstrate numerical acumen and professional literacy skills;
  • Demonstrate great communication skills in person and over the phone.
Responsibilities
  • Schedule and prioritise deliveries from arrival into the UK and according to business requirements.
  • Liaise with other internal functions such as Accounts and Sales Admin in the coordination of customer deliveries;
  • Liaise with third party contractors to ensure availability of their services as they are needed;
  • Coordinate movement of vehicles into and around the UK;
  • Coordinate the movement of any demonstrator vehicle returns and inspections;
  • Coordinate delivery of accessories/parts;
  • Manage the location of vehicles in storage facilities;
  • Manage movement of vehicles between Sites (for example between workshop to showroom etc.);
  • Control Vehicle locations between sites, maintaining logs of all vehicles in transit and in location;
  • Liaise with our Suppliers in coordinating delivery requirements;
  • Progress chase supplier orders;
  • Oversee inventory Management of third-party equipment.
  • Work with our sales function in the achievement of our import and stock movement success;
  • Co-ordinate with the service department to ensure customer orders are fulfilled, liaise with internal training department in the facilitation of Customer EV Training;
  • Liaise with Aftersales department in the provision of parts reports and aftersales queries;
  • Prepare Customer delivery packs or work with sales admin in the preparation of these;
  • Maintain Stock report including monitoring and managing returns stock, and Warehouse stock from third party suppliers (accessories etc.)
