POSITION OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Finance Junior Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Hunter Douglas’ manufacturing and supply chain operations in Australia and New Zealand. This role provides critical insight into operational costs, efficiencies, and variances, enabling data-driven decisions. The role contributes directly to MBOs through the delivery of accurate financial insights that impact cost control, productivity, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with month-end reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations related to manufacturing cost centers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational performance reports (e.g., labour utilization, waste, OEE).
  • Maintain and monitor standard cost data and analyze production variances and COGS.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain teams.
  • Build cost models for new manufacturing scenarios and assist with variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial implications of initiatives and supplier contracts.
  • Provide financial support for audits, compliance, ESG initiatives, and DoA adherence.
  • Partner with Plant Managers and Procurement to drive cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned
