To learn more about JustFoodForDogs, visit JustFoodForDogs.com POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate, on-time fulfillment across JFFD’s core channels—including wholesale, retail, and marketplace partners. This role owns fill rate performance across these channels and works closely with 3PLs, Logistics, and internal teams to ensure inventory availability, routing compliance, and carrier scheduling. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 3PL PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT • Drive daily/weekly 3PL execution against key KPIs (on-time shipping, accuracy, fill rate, routing compliance). • Own fill rate performance across wholesale and retail partners, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions. • Identify performance gaps and partner with 3PLs to implement improvements. • Monitor operational defects to build a channel-specific performance roadmap. ORDER FULFILLMENT & CHANNEL EXECUTION • Support and manage order workflow for all channels (Retail, Wholesale, Petco, Chewy, Amazon). • Complete order management transactions as needed (order releases, routing updates, exception handling). • Troubleshoot issues such as shorts, delays, mis-picks, and receiving discrepancies. • Coordinate with Logistics on carrier scheduling, pickup windows, and LTL readiness. • Ensure compliance with routing guides, consolidation rules, and retailer ship windows. INVENTORY VISIBILITY & TRANSACTIONAL ACCURACY • Maintain accurate inventory levels to support fulfillment requirements. • Execute transactional work such as transfer orders, item receipts, adjustments, and replenishment tasks. • Communicate stock risks and allocation issues to cross-functional teams including Logistics. REPORTING, ANALYTICS & KPI OWNERSHIP • Pull, maintain, and analyze weekly KPI dashboards (on-time ship, accuracy, fill rate, inventory health). • Review KPIs with Senior Specialist and Director, identifying trends and improvement opportunities. • Use operational data to recommend process changes and improve performance. • Support improvement projects with data analysis and root-cause problem solving. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT • Partner with Logistics on carrier readiness, routing, and appointment scheduling. • Collaborate with Customer Experience, Purchasing, Retail Ops, Sales, and Supply Chain. • Serve as an escalation point for fulfillment-related concerns. • Support SOP creation, performance logs, and operational documentation. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. • Proficiency with ERP, OMS, and WMS systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis). • Ability to interpret data and convert insights into actions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience coordinating with carriers and logistics teams (parcel & LTL). • Strong problem-solving abilities and continuous improvement mindset. • Familiarity with drop-ship and DC-based fulfillment workflows. • Knowledge of carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and OnTrac. • Salesforce experience preferred. • Prior experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, or 3PL management.
