Overview The SCIS Analyst is an intermediate position within the SCDI structure. The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Infor/Lawson ERP System in addition to other systems supported by the SCDI team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, data uploads, queries, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This individual also performs critical processes related to security, month-end reports, scheduled jobs, EDI vendor maintenance, and data research and normalization. The SCIS Analyst also supports Infor/Lawson upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Hours: Monday-Friday, standard business hours Location: Remote Why UnityPoint Health? Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities System Maintenance Plays integral role in testing, implementing and reviewing system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain system tables and document process and results. Production Support Provide support for including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Projects/Process Improvement Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy. Recommendations are given particular weight by leadership in the decision-making process regarding matters of significance in meeting the business objective prior to their approval for implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. Central Procurement). Creates functional specifications for required RICEW elements to support process improvement initiatives as needed. May provide overall project management for a given Supply Chain initiative. Reports/Queries Write, maintain and support a variety of queries utilizing appropriate tools. Assist in development of standard queries for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Training Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality and train new system users. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field or experience in excess of three (5) years may be substituted for education. Three to five years of Supply Chain Information Systems, Lawson/ERP, or Supply Chain experience. Systems implementation experience preferred. Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and data, including master data, inventory management, purchasing, and contracting in order to ensure correct implementation. Strong understanding of Supply Chain database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects. Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures. Understands GPO and contracting processes related to price files and maintenance. Possesses excellent writing and verbal communications skills and the ability to understand and communicate concepts to technical and non-technical individuals. Demonstrates an ability to complete projects and be able to build consensus among groups or individuals with diverse interests and function effectively as a team leader in a team environment. Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships. Proficient with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Project and Visio, Access preferred. Expertise in Excel and tools required to perform queries and uploads into ERP system, perform v-lookups, and create pivot tables. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare supplies and systems is highly desired. Demonstrates detail knowledge base and skill level in computer application methodology as it is used to automate health care business practices.
