Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our team and support key initiatives that improve master data accuracy and optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes. This role offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations and exposure to multiple functional areas including, material planning, inventory accuracy, and production scheduling. This position reports to the Supply Chain Director and plays a key role in supporting operational execution, and business performance. Duties and Responsibilities: · Review, validate, and update master data elements (e.g., lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels) to improve MRP functionality. · Assist in freight analysis and support initiatives to optimize transportation expenses and on time delivery. · Assist with updating Scrap reports, and maintain KPI. · Support supplier on-time delivery tracking and basic expediting follow-up · Participate in continuous improvement / lean efforts tied to inventory accuracy, kitting, or receiving processes. · Perform other supply chain-related tasks and special projects as assigned. Requirements Qualifications, Skills, and Experience · Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus. · Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. · Ability to work independently and in a team environment. · Strong communication skills. · Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during production oversight · Manual dexterity for handling small components · May require occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds · Use of standard ESD protection & PPE in manufacturing environments · Visual acuity to inspect parts and read technical documents
