Job Summary This Summer Associates Program serves as UPMC’s corporate internship program. Summer Associates work in a variety of business functions spanning across all divisions of UPMC. All Summer Associates work towards the common goal of operational and clinical success at UPMC. Specifically, the Supply Chain Intern will support key initiatives within hospital operations, procure to pay, supply chain pharmacy, inventory management, and project management. This role offers hands-on experience, providing exposure to supply chain processes and analytics. Responsibilities: Assist with data analysis to identify supply chain trends Support process improvement projects aimed at improving efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Operations, Sourcing, Transformation) to resolve supply chain issues Learn systems and technologies used in Supply Chain (e.g., PeopleSoft) Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on lessons learned High School Diploma Strongly Preferred Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
