JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager - Supply Chain Inventory Product Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the inventory planning procurement and supplier relationships. The role is a highly strategic and execution focused role that requires close cross-functional partnerships. The individual will drive streamline inventory procurement, optimize supply chain efficiency, and enhance last-mile delivery operations through data-driven strategies for seamless operations .

Responsibilities
  • Product Procurement and Supplier Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that align with Swyft?s cost, quality, and operational goals.
  • Consolidate and expand supplier relationships based on operational efficiencies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers to optimize procurement costs.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure consistent supply chain performance.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that balance cost, risk, and operational efficiency.
  1. Risk Management and Compliance
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions and vendor-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, product expiration dates, procurement policies, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Partner with technology teams to integrate procurement automation and real-time inventory tracking solutions.
  • Plan and action SKU changes, end-of life products and vendor product updates including packaging.
  1. Product Assortment Optimization and Availability
  • Ensure purchase order demand meets supplier execution and demand planning
  • Continue to optimize assortment availability, SKU customer demands exceed lead times and make industry leading products recommendations
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates, product fulfillment rates to improve efficiency
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising product availability or quality including product margin maximization
  • Leverage data analytics and demand forecasting models to prevent stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance teams to align inventory plans with business needs.
