About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead in Calgary. This role will play a key part in developing and executing sourcing and contracting strategies, managing complex supplier relationships, and supporting business operations through effective procurement and contract management practices.   • Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute sourcing, procurement, and contracting strategies that support operational and business objectives.
  • Manage the full competitive bid process, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), evaluations, negotiations, contract awards, and implementation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Operations, Projects, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other business groups to develop sourcing plans and commercial strategies.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a variety of contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, commercial, and supply chain risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Manage supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee contract administration activities, including amendments, change orders, renewals, and dispute resolution.
  • Analyze spend, supplier performance, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities and value improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Support compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement and supply chain team members.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and contract documentation to support governance and audit requirements.
