Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE - JOB DESCRIPTION

As Supply Chain Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our Supply Chain Manager by ensuring smooth flow of materials, timely purchasing, and effective coordination across teams. You will manage day-to-day purchasing and logistics activities, monitor inventory and cost performance, and work closely with suppliers to maintain continuity of supply.
Success in this role requires curiosity about how products are made, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset. By developing a strong understanding of our products and manufacturing processes, you will be able to add value in supplier negotiations, cost control, and cross-functional alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing & Inventory Management

  • Support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Execute purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials meet required specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production schedules.
  • Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate pricing, lead times, and supplier information.

Logistics Coordination

  • Track inbound shipments (domestic and international) and coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Ensure import/export documentation and HS codes are accurate and compliant.
  • Manage local transportation and delivery scheduling.
  • Track freight costs and prepare logistics KPIs for reporting.

Cost & Supplier Management

  • Assist with supplier price negotiations, leveraging cost models and market insights.
  • Support “should cost” analysis by evaluating raw material, process, and logistics drivers.
  • Maintain ERP pricing data in line with contracts and supplier updates.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work with Customer Service on order status and product inquiries.
  • Partner with Engineering on new component sourcing and design-for-manufacturing feedback.
  • Coordinate with Product Management for new product launches, BOM creation, and inventory readiness.
  • Align with Sales & Marketing to support demand-driven activities and customer programs.
