Description
  • Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with project and operational requirements.
  • Lead competitive bid processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance procurement performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, purchase orders, and supply contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery schedules, and contractual compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, operations, estimating, finance, and construction personnel.
  • Support procurement planning, material forecasting, and project execution requirements.
  • Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and supplier capabilities to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Assist in developing and improving procurement procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to supply chain risk management and business continuity initiatives.


  • QualificationsDegree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • CPP, SCMP, or similar professional designation is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or commercial experience.
  • Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or project-based environments.
  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver cost savings and procurement value.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with construction materials, equipment procurement, subcontract management, or project procurement is considered an asset.
