Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the areas of purchasing, production planning and control, logistics and warehousing.
- Disciplinary and professional management of approximately 25 employees, including direct control of the production planning and control team as well as management of the team leaders in purchasing and warehousing.
- Development and implementation of a future-oriented supply chain strategy, taking into account growth, stability and profitability.
- Ensuring optimal material availability to guarantee high delivery capacity to our customers
- Active intervention in the event of deviations, bottlenecks or disruptions in the supply chain, as well as proactive countermeasures to avoid risks.
- Continuous optimization of processes along the entire value chain through analysis and adherence to key performance indicators (e.g., inventory turnover, delivery performance, and optimal ordering and storage costs).
- Active participation in shaping and further developing digitalization and ERP topics in close cooperation with related areas.
- Close, cross-departmental collaboration with sales, work preparation, production and quality management
- Strategic market and supplier monitoring as well as active development of existing supplier relationships.
- Communication and coordination with customers and suppliers, also in English if required.

- Completed technical training/studies or commercial training/studies, ideally with a technical focus or comparable qualification.
- A technical background in electronics is desirable; alternatively, career changers with sound experience in an industrial environment are welcome.
- Proven experience with technical components and/or complex assemblies
- At least two years of management experience in a manufacturing company (mass production, industry)
- Solid knowledge in the areas of purchasing, production planning, manufacturing control or logistics
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and interdepartmental relationships
- Very confident handling of key performance indicators (KPIs) for controlling material flows, inventory, and delivery performance, etc.
- Experience in handling ERP systems and an affinity for digital processes
- Structured, analytical and forward-looking work style with high problem-solving skills
- Assertiveness paired with team orientation and clear communication
- Excellent German skills, both written and spoken, as well as good to very good English skills for international communication.
