Job Title: Supply Chain Management Accountant
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK – Hybrid – at least one day per week in the Peterborough office
Contract / Shift: Permanent, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

  • Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Experience in Management Accounting within a supply chain or manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Someone who is always looking for ways to add value and improve processes.
  • A Clear Communicator - able to present financial information concisely and effectively.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation and review of monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, along with variance analysis.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Completing period end tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
  • Providing relevant and clear information to support operational decision-making and performance management.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline reporting and financial processes.
  • Assisting with ad hoc analysis and supporting various supply chain projects.
  • Building effective working relationships with Operations, Transport, Planning, and Procurement teams.
