Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3 or 4) located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
This role supports 787 Emergent Operations (EO) within the Fabrication Division. You will be involved in responsibilities that include incorporating change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. This position in Materials Management (Supply Chain) methodologies will also ensure coordination in the Global Supply Chain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • 3+ years of experience with an industry ERP system
  • 3+ years of experience with Lean+ and/or Lean 5S
  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Analyzes complex material requirements
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Determines part number attributes
  • Initiates, coordinates, and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensures on-time delivery
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies; reports schedule adherence issues
  • Develops and controls inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements
  • Analyzes and establishes best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Works under general direction
