JOB DESCRIPTION Supply Chain Manager What can you expect? We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations team. You will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement and logistics to inventory and distribution. You will balance strategic and long-term initiatives, to reduce cost, unlock capital, and ensure timely delivery, with operationally sound and prag-matic solutions that work in a just-in-time manufacturing environment. The position reports to our Operations Man-ager with a dotted reporting line to our central supply chain matrix organisation. You will be based full-time in office in our Torslanda Plant. For more information, please visit www.adient.com What will your responsibilities be? • Proactively manages and controls forecasting, material ordering, material control, transportation and inventory for incoming material. • Proactively and competently manages health and safety for the department • Controls cost, efficiently and pro-actively • Manages and enhances supplier and customer relationships, and monitors performance • Creates accurate and efficient reporting to better be able to analyse supply chain data. • Drives continuous improvements for the supply chain • Forecasts logistics related cost and issues, creates actionable plans to manage concerns • Ensures optimal flow of material and packaging throughout plant • Ensures JIT delivery to customers, by managing external logistics providers • Comfortably manages team members and ensures high performance throughout the team • Main KPIs – DOH, cycle count, premium freights, DMR, On time delivery etc. Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees? • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering or economics or similar relevant degree • Relevant Masters preferable but not required • At least 8 years managerial experience in the areas of materials management and inventory control, preferably in the relevant industries • Supply chain relations in relevant industries • Material management, handling and transportation • Supply management concepts and practices • Warehouse management experience • PnL experience • Relevant business system knowledge • Language skills: Fluent business English and Swedish Adient is committed to equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
